Dr. Phelps grew up in Gilbert and then moved to Queen Creek. He has lived in Arizona most of his life. Arizona is home to him.

Dr. Phelps attended Arizona State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. He attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.

Dr. Phelps is passionate about meeting the individual needs of his patients. The most fulfilling part of dentistry for Dr. Phelps is when an anxious patient, who usually avoids visiting the dental office, expresses how comfortable and at ease they feel while working with him. Dr. Phelps' desire to pursue dentistry was derived from his instinctive inclination to help people. Caring for his patients by attending to their dental health brings immense joy to him.

Dr. Phelps and his wife have three children, as well as a golden retriever and a labradoodle puppy. The kids and puppies keep them busy, but they wouldn’t have it any other way! On the occasion he finds himself with free time, he enjoys weight lifting, reading Harry Potter, and sitting by a campfire. It's also not hard for his kids to rope him into a round of Super Smash Bros!
